85 degrees and counting

It is April. It is Texas. It is hot. Most days, that is. So I bought E a cute little sun hat. And of course in my biased parental role, it is just oh too cute. See:

We played outside for a little while and she was content to sit on the blanket and eat her toy and not the leaves for once.

She also loves clapping her hands all the time. It is so much fun to watch, she claps and laughs and giggles that she is doing something new.

Although the highlight of her afternoon would include standing up all by herself, sliding down the slide, climbing up the slide, and swinging. What can I say...she is just like her mom, she loves the great Texas heat :)
