Tri State Fair

This weekend was also the Tri State Fair

E was so excited to go to the petting zoo.  She even found courage to pet a few of the animals.

Although anything bigger than a baby goat she was content just to look at it.

She LOVED the baby goats and kept hugging them. Maybe they reminded her of small dogs :)

We tried to get her to pet the camel.... It didn't work out so well

We let her ride the Ferris Wheel and she had a blast.  I have never seen her smile and giggle so much.
Daddy and I had a pretty good time too.
We had enough money for Daddy and E to go on one more ride and E picked this one.   I don't know the name of it but it spun in fast circles.  If I had known how fast it went I probably would of redirected her, but she love it too.
Here she is showing me how much fun she is having!

It was a great day at the fair!

Rodeo

This weekend we went to the Rodeo here in Amarillo
This was E's 2nd Rodeo (1st won was in UT last summer)

She didn't have any interest in the clown, but the high schoolers next to us loved him.
She really enjoyed watching the bucking horses and bulls!  She just laughed her head off every time they came out.

Then the 4H club from local high schools got to go try to wrestle down baby calves that was pretty entertaining watching them run all over the field

It was a little long and didn't end till 10:00, but we all enjoyed ourselves.

I didn't get a picture of it, but E also got to eat 2 blowpops.  That was something special :)

Look What I DID!

I found a relatively easy skirt pattern here

Then I found some cute Halloween fabric at Walmart and Hobby Lobby.

Apparently, when you take pictures in a new skirt, you have to point at the camera with a big grin :)

Then I found a pants pattern here

This pattern was a little more difficult.  I am not sure if it is because I decided half-way through that the fabric was too thin...and lined it with white flannel. Or if I just suck at making pants.  But either way they finally were finished and just barely fit her :)

I would say the hem was the hardest part.  But I got that down too.

Oh and here are some shots of just the skirt with no girl.  I think it could have been a little longer, but the leggings make it really cute!  Besides it will probably be cold in Oct and she will need leggings anyways.

Stuffed animal crazy

E loves her stuffed animals.

Every morning when we tell her she can get out of bed, she says "OOOKKKAYYY"

Then she grabs her animals, pillows and blankets and brings them to either our bed or the living room, depending on where we are.

In fact she carries so much that sometimes she has to put some in her mouth....

My sweetheart just being cute taking care of her animals :)

A little princess

E recently got a new princess dress. It is a little big, but we tried it on today.  She had a love/hate relationship with it.  She loved it, thought it was pretty, but was uncomfortable in it because it didn't fit right.  But she still looked a pretty as a princess, because every little girl is a princess!
Thanks Grandma, can't wait for many more dress up days!

Dogs

The past week or so we have been watching Jerry, for David's parents while they were in Wyoming.  E loves Jerry so much. In fact, she is constantly by his side, squeezing him and hugging him and pulling his tail.  Jerry has a love/hate relationship with E.  He normally hates kids, but he tolerates most of what E does for some reason.  Today I went to shower.  When I got out of the shower this is where I found E....
Poor Jerry.

New Hairstyles

E finally has hair!
Enough for a pony tail or pigtails!

I love how cute her little pigtails are.

They are just to die for when they are first done.

Then there are the other fun hairstyles I have been attempting when she sits still :)

Random Cuteness

E wakes up with the best bed head

I love the back of her head in the mornings.

Who couldn't resist this face in the morning?

E loves to dress up in my clothes, socks, all day long.

I just love this fashion statement :)

Always putting on my shoes, she is a clothes and shoes diva :)
